Colophon
This site is written in Org-mode and built to plain HTML with Emacs — no frameworks, no JavaScript, no trackers, and nothing fetched from anyone else’s server. The pages are small on purpose and should load on anything.
The type is served from here, not borrowed from a font network. The commentary is typed; the psalms are set in a blackletter textura, opened by an illuminated initial; the notes in the margin run in a different hand, and sometimes a different ink, as marginal notes always did. The scraps, for their part, are letters practiced on the backs of broken pots. The page is a warm off-white, because paper never was pure white.
